November 11th Eckartsau was the setting for the final act in the 640 years  rule of the Habsburgs. The hunting lodge, which was used very often by Archduke Francis Ferdinand (shot in Sarajevo 1914) lies to the east of Vienna, only 15miles away. Once in Eckartsau we will see the delightful gardens and as well we will get inside the palace to visit the former imperial living rooms and the servants quarter.
