Our first visit to Vienna and on the first full day we did the 4-hour City Tour which was fantastic. On the second day we went on the 7-hour tour to the Danube Valley, boat trip to Melk and a visit to the Abbey.

Secondly both our guides were wonderful hosts. Max might be one of the nicest people I’ve ever met, he pushed around our 15 month old in the stroller without asking & even carried him to the top of Dürnstein Castle. My family really felt like VIPs, and this enhanced our overall experience. Max was also an excellent driver, which provides reassurance to young families, whilst also knowing so much about the areas we visited. Plus his photography skills are fantastic. We did Schönbrunn Palace with Peter, and he explained the vast palace complex so succinctly & comprehensively. I noticed other tourists looking over enviably in our direction as Peter explained the different rooms & their meanings, but without overwhelming us with information. He has a real passion for Austria & its history, and it was a privilege to spend time with him,
Overall this is an excellent family company where people come as tourists/guests but leave as friends. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

From the first email with Peter I knew I selected the right Private Guide. He asked me a few questions about what we are looking for in a tour. I told him a little about my husband, our 3 children (all girls - ages 17, 19 and 21) and I. We requested to visit every location others had ranted and raved about in his many 5 star reviews.
We first met Peter when he picked us up in his extremely luxurious Mercedes van at our hotel to transport us on the first day of our 2 day tour. Our tour was supposed to begin with a walking tour but due to inclement weather Peter recommended we change our itinerary. I’m thankful for his recommendation so we would be more comfortable and enjoy the sites. He showed us some amazing, beautiful sites!!!
Peter speaks excellent English. He will take you to unique places and tell stories that make what you are seeing come alive. He is very friendly, knowledgeable, laid back, professional and a very careful driver and clearly wants to give you the best experience possible. He is a local and loves his home very much. He shared the rich history of his city and country. He had wonderful stories to tell of his childhood and his family- this made the tour very enjoyable.
Whatever you're looking for, he'll find it. Peter tailored the trip to our ability and comfort level. He is willing to accommodate everyone's comfort level, gently encouraging each of us to experience each of these unique locations to the fullest. Our tour took us through many sites including Schönbrunn Palace, Belvedere Palace and Saint Stephen’s Cathedral. Peter set the perfect pace for our two day tour and we left feeling as though we'd made a friend.
It was absolutely one of the best, if not the best, days of the trip. He knew the answer to almost every question we asked him. The scenery was breathtaking! We have the most amazing pictures of our trip! He was very kind and took family photos for us.
If you're doing a tour of Vienna (which you should be), do yourself a favor and book Peter! The cost of the tour was extremely reasonable and he's worth every penny! Skip the group tours that take you to only the big tourist spots, on their schedule. Peter’s tours are totally customized, you'll see significantly more, and you'll be a lot more comfortable in his van than a tour bus. It's really like hanging out with a friend, who happens to know all the best spots. No need to plan ahead, take your rental car on the roads of Vienna and risk damage, figure out your way around or where to park, wonder if you saw everything you should have or end up in divorce court because of your husbands driving. Just call Peter get your camera ready, and let him take care of everything else. You'll be glad you did! Highly recommended for all ages!

Peter took our family of four on a private tour to Budapest. Everything was very professional - from the timely pick up, his private van, to the drive to/from Budapest and local tour. The family felt instantly comfortable with Peter - he is very knowledgeable, funny, enthusiastic and he kept us engaged with stories and historical facts on both Vienna and Budapest as well as his personal insights. At the end of the tour, we all felt like we gained a friend! If you need a high quality tour, go with a great tour guide such as Peter and his team.

We LOVED spending the day with Peter - he is the BEST!!!
WOW - Peter is the most amazing tour guide and person!!! My husband/I booked him far in advance due to the great reviews, to make sure he was available for our 1st time in Vienna. History is my passion - and his delivery is spot on and easy to follow. His personality is FANTASTIC - so charming, warm, friendly, and fun. Truly like spending the day with an old friend. I requested to spend a full day with him and sent him sights wanted to see and not see, and he fully customized the tour for me and included hidden gems. We were in his wonderful Tesla - so cool!! Also had an amazing lunch with him at Cafe Demel (I also requested) and he was kind enough to get us reservations and a special table! Per my request, Peter picked us up from Schonnbrunn Palace (we did the audio tour there at 8:00am - great!) and we toured both major and minor sights in several districts, all were wonderful!! We did things by car, photo stops, and some walking per my request. Peter's full day price is maybe slightly more expensive than some other European city private tours we've done - but is soooooo worth it, and we would never want to tour with anyone else in Vienna! We've travelled for 20 years and Peter is truly one of the BEST, and by far the best of our recent almost 2 week journey through Central Europe doing private tours daily. Thank you Peter for everything - you are indeed a very special person!!! Hope to see you again one day!!
